What is the shipping and delivery policy for live fish orders?

We will offer certain shipping methods depending on the time of year, the shipping destination and the type and size of product being shipped. If you prefer to use a shipping method that we are not able to guarantee at the time of your order, we will advise you, prior to shipping, that the method you have chosen will void our delivery guarantee. If you choose a method that we recommend for guaranteed delivery, the following policies will apply:

If any of the product we sent you are damage, you must contact us immediately and report the problem. Otherwise, no credit can be given. How do I return an item damaged in transit?

Return shipping must be prepaid by the customer. Careful packaging and insurance are highly recommended. We will not issue a refund for any returned item that is lost or damaged in transit. We will, however, do our part to help you collect on the insurance you purchased.

What types of fish should I add to my aquarium?

There are a variety of fish you can add to your aquarium. As a rule, tropical fish and goldfish should not be mixed. Also keep in mind the size a fish will reach as it matures. As fish grow, they may outgrow your tank. The type of fish to choose will depend on the size of your aquarium and the temperament of the fish. There are community, semi-aggressive, and aggressive fish. If you mix in an aggressive fish with a community fish, it could mean the death of your new fish. Your local pet store can help you select the right fish.
